Shibori is a Japanese manual resist technique of tie and dye where fabric is manipulated in different ways to achieve the design with storied patterns and colours in the garment.
Ajrakh means “keep it today.” It is also linked to azrakh, the Arabic word for indigo. It is done with hand block prints and vegetable dyes to create earthy, living fabrics.
